Our Practice
Arizona Coast Ear Nose & Throat is comprised of an American Board of Medical Specialties certified Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck surgeon (ear, nose & throat specialist) Devin M. Cunning, M.D., FACS, trained at a top university in his specialty.
Our staff provide numerous services related to general ear, nose and throat care, head and neck cancer surgery, snoring and sleep disorder surgery, facial plastic surgery, skin cancer, ear surgery, and nasal and sinus surgery. We are pleased to treat children and adults. We offer in-office procedures, such as thyroid ultrasounds, sinus and temporal bone CT scan, transnasal esophagoscopy, allergy shots and balloon sinuplasty. Additionally we provide Home Sleep Testing.
Our state-of-the-art Audiology department is staffed with a board certified audiologist and audiologic technician. They provide comprehensive hearing tests; hearings aid sales and repairs, hearing aid accessories, swim molds, custom earplugs, noise protection, and balance/dizziness testing.

Meet Our Staff
Devin M. Cunning, M.D., FACS
Dr. Cunning has practiced in Lake Havasu City since 1999. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Biology. After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin he completed his internship in general surgery at the Naval Hospital San Diego. Dr. Cunning served onboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) as the general medical officer for two years with travel to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. After further specialty training in Buffalo, New York, Dr. Cunning completed his residency in Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He continues to serve as a Commander in the US Navy reserve unit.
Dr. Cunning is dual board certified in Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine. He has attained Fellow status in Allergy after completing advanced training through the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Cunning is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery. He has served as the Chief of Surgery and Joint Venture Board member at Havasu Regional Medical Center and Chief of Staff at Havasu Surgery Center.
Personally, Dr. Cunning has served as a member of London Bridge Rotary Club and a board member of the Lake Havasu Chamber of Commerce. He is active in sports and is a private pilot. He is married to Erin C. Cunning, who works as the Practice Administrator at Arizona Coast Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy and has served as a board member of the Havasu Community Health Trust. They have four children. Their eldest son, Nate is a Corpsman in the US Navy stationed in Jacksonville, FL, their eldest daughter, Elise is living in Sydney, Australia and works full time in the Human Resources industry for the IHG Hotel group, while pursuing her Masters in Business, daughter Emily is finishing up on TWO honors degrees from the University of Arizona in History and Undergraduate Law and will be graduating Summa Cum Laude, and youngest daughter Maura, is pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre at the renowned Boston Conservatory.
Julie M. McGuire, PA-C
Julie has over 25 years experience as a Physician Assistant. She trained at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. As a long time resident of Lake Havasu City, she also works with our veterans at the VA clinic where she has provided services since 2001. She is married to veterinarian Dr. Terry McGuire and has two daughters.
Melaina Z Blomenkamp, PA-C
Melaina has 19 years’ experience working as a Physician Assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences at the University of Arizona in 1999 and then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She is a resident of Lake Havasu City for over 35 years, a Fire wife and has two teenage children. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is able to diagnose and care for patients with a wide variety of Otolaryngology issues.
Lisa J. Gibbs, M.A., CCC-A
Lisa is Lake Havasu City’s only full time audiologist, she can perform a wide variety of hearing and balance testing. She is certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and registered by the Arizona Department of Health Services for audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
Toni Bailey
Toni E Bailey has lived in Lake Havasu since 2009 and has been with Arizona Coast ENT since January 2015. She takes time to listen, has patience, extensive product knowledge and a drive to find a solution for all patients. Certified OtoTech by the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and neck surgery completed Nova Southeastern University Audiology Assistant’s program for diagnostics and amplification in 2016 and is registered by Arizona Department of Health Services for Hearing aid dispensing. Toni performs hearing aid repairs, programming, and fittings for multiple manufacturers, has a passion for helping people hear better and is excited about the latest hearing aid technology from Phonak.
Melissa Funk
Melissa was born and raised in the Colorado River area. She has worked her entire adult life in the Health Care field.
She has worked with Dr. Cunning and Arizona Coast Ear, Nose & Throat for many years. She is certified through the American Academy of Otolaryngology as an OTO-Tech. She is also licensed to dispense hearing aids through the Arizona Department of Health Services for hearing aid dispensing. She performs hearing aid repairs, programming, and fittings for multiple manufacturers. Patients love her because of her dedication to help and her charm, or sass.
Melissa and her husband, Todd have been married for 32 years. They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, and three grandchildren.
Allergy Department
The Allergy Department at Arizona Coast Ear Nose & Throat is a team consisting of professional allergy technician, Krissi Adams who works with and under the guidance of Dr. Cunning.
Krissi Adams is a Certified Allied Health Member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Her training has included attending Annual meetings in San Diego in addition to completing both the Basic and Advanced courses in Otolaryngic Allergy and Immunology which she attended in Vail, Colorado. To further her knowledge in allergy and immunology, Krissi attended the 2011 WSAAI conference in Maui, Hawaii. She has also received clinical training in Tucson, Arizona and in Lake Havasu City under the guidance of Dr. Cunning.
Krissi Adams joined Arizona Coast Ear, Nose, Throat, Allergy & Sleep Medicine in August of 2005 as the first allergy technician in the newly formed allergy department. She was born in New York City and moved to Lake Havasu City in July of 1980. She is the proud mother of three children, a son, and twin daughters.
